Colorectal cancer in Serbia presents a very significant health problem, because of its high incidence and significant mortality in the general population. Colorectal cancer is the second type of cancer among both men and women, while it is the second cause of mortality in men and third in women, right after the mortality of breast and lungs cancers.
Organized colorectal cancer screening is encountering a good uptake from the target population and it is  expected even larger coverage of the target population by FOB testing in the forthcoming screening rounds, so that the health of the population in Serbia would be improved.
